Our Return & Exchange Policy – Simple & Hassle-Free

We want you to love what you get from Giftbaux! If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help make returns or exchanges smooth and straightforward. Here’s how it works:

📦 1. When Can I Return or Exchange Something?

You can return or exchange items if:

  • They’re unused, unworn, and in brand-new condition (tags on, original packaging included).
  • You reach out to us within 30 days of your delivery date.
  • Personalized/custom items (like engraved gifts or products with your name/photo) can only be returned if they arrived damaged or defective. (Sorry, but hope you can understand)

Important: We can’t accept returns sent without our approval first – please always start with Step 2 below!

🚚 2. How Do I Start a Return or Exchange?

Just follow these easy steps:

  • Step 1: Get in Touch!

    • Just us an email at  [email protected] with your order number and a quick note about why you’re returning or exchanging the item.
    • If it’s damaged or defective, please snap a few clear photos and attach them – this helps us sort things out faster!
  • Step 2: We’ll Send You Instructions

    • Once we review your request, we’ll email you back with:
      • The specific return address to ship the item to.
      • Simple step-by-step instructions.
    • ⚠️ Important: Please don’t just ship it back to the return address on the package! That’s not our warehouse, and it could seriously delay your refund or exchange. Wait for our email with the correct address.
  • Step 3: Ship It Back

    • Pack the item securely and send it using a trackable shipping service (this protects you in case it gets lost!).
    • Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll process your refund or ship out your replacement. We’ll email you as soon as it’s done!

⏱️ 3. How Long Does My Refund Take?

  • We’ll issue your refund within 5-7 business days after we receive and approve the returned item.
  • After that, it usually takes your bank or credit card company another 7-14 business days to show the funds in your account. (We know it feels slow sometimes – we process it fast, but banks have their own timelines!)
  • Refunds always go back to the original payment method you used.

💰 4. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • You cover the cost of shipping the item back to us, unless:
    • The item arrived damaged, defective, or we sent you the wrong thing. In those cases, we’ll cover the return shipping (we’ll let you know how when you contact us).
  • For exchanges, you’ll usually need to cover the shipping cost for us to send the new item to you. We’ll always confirm this cost with you before sending anything out.
  • Pro Tip: Use a trackable and insured shipping service. Giftbaux can’t be responsible for packages that get lost on their way back to us.

🧾 5. Is There a Restocking or Handling Fee?

  • Usually, no! We don’t charge restocking fees for most returns.

🔧 6. What If My Item Arrived Damaged or Defective?

  • Oh no! We’re really sorry that happened. Please let us know within 7 days of delivery.
  • Email us at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the damage/defect.
  • We’ll send you a free replacement or issue a full refund, including any shipping costs you paid. No hassle!

🚫 7. What Can’t Be Returned or Exchanged?

To keep things fair, we can’t accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Personalized or custom items (unless defective/damaged – see point 1).
  • Clearance items or items marked “Final Sale”.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or damaged after you received them.
  • Returns sent without our prior approval.

✏️ 8. Need to Cancel or Change an Order?

  • We get it – sometimes you need to make a change! You can modify or cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it.
  • After that 12-hour window, your order might already be in production or on its way to you, and we likely won’t be able to cancel or change it. If you need help ASAP, email us right away at  [email protected]
